Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using trendin.chat ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA) to use the Platform.

2. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful.
• Impersonate other users, public figures, or Trendin staff.
• Send spam, automated messages, or use bots to interact with the Platform.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, content filters, or security measures.
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Platform without authorization.
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious files.
• Share content that sexualizes minors (CSAM) — this will result in immediate ban and reporting to authorities.

We reserve the right to remove content, warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these guidelines. Moderation decisions can be appealed by contactingsupport@trendin.chat.

3. AI-Generated Content

The Platform includes an AI assistant (powered by Grok / xAI) that can generate text responses and images. AI-generated content is provided "as is" without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or suitability. You should not rely on AI responses for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. AI-generated images are temporary and automatically deleted after 7 days. Trendin Chat is not responsible for the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated content.

4. Premium Subscription

Premium features are available through a paid subscription managed by RevenueCat via Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled according to the respective app store's refund policies. Free-tier users are subject to daily usage limits (messages, AI interactions) as displayed in the app.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Content you post (messages, images, profile information) remains yours. By posting, you grant Trendin Chat a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and store your content within the Platform. Trending topics and tweet previews displayed on the Platform are sourced from public data and shown under fair use principles. The Trendin Chat brand, logo, and software are our intellectual property.

6. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your profile data, push tokens, and associated records will be permanently removed. Messages you sent in public rooms may be anonymized but retained for conversation continuity. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

Trendin Chat is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, service interruptions, or AI-generated content.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
